The TNSET examination is conducted in various subjects such as Arts, Science, Commerce, and Languages. It is a highly competitive exam that requires thorough preparation and dedication from the candidates.

The exam consists of three papers – Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.

Paper-I is a general paper that tests the candidates’ teaching and research aptitude. It consists of questions on reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. This paper is common for all candidates and is designed to evaluate their overall understanding of the teaching profession.

Paper-II is subject-specific and tests the candidates’ in-depth knowledge of the subject they have chosen. The candidates are required to choose one subject from the list of available subjects and answer questions based on their chosen subject.

Paper-III is also subject-specific and tests the candidates’ analytical and critical thinking abilities. This paper consists of essay-type questions that require candidates to analyze and interpret information, and present their thoughts in a coherent and structured manner.
